Everything on this site is searchable — a file number, a councillor, a motion, a meeting, or an application.
Reviewing the record
Every page here is read by software from what the Town of Mississauga publishes. A reviewer is a person who knows this council and reads the pages against the minutes.
What a reviewer does
Reads a council page, a member page or a meeting page beside the minutes it was read from, and says where they disagree.
Sends corrections to the address below. Every correction is acted on within 48 hours and recorded in public on the corrections page, with the reviewer credited if they wish.
Tells us what the town publishes that this record has not found: a roster page, a planning register, a results page.
What a reviewer does not do
Edit anything. Nothing on this site is written by hand; a correction changes what the software reads or how, and the page is rebuilt from the documents.
Characterise anyone. The record says what was moved, seconded, decided and who was present. It does not rate members and neither do its reviewers.
